Materia Libraries

The Materia Inspiration Centre offers two types of libraries: a material library and a book library.

Material Library
The Materia Material Library is situated in the heart of the Materia Inspiration Centre, showing selected material samples from Materia’s material archive, comprising over 1.500 samples. This collection is continuously updated with the most current materials. All materials are published on www.materia.nl

Here you can find the materials you are looking for according to a logical classification. The material samples are presented in a clear way, on panels of 40 × 40 cm. Form and colour variations are shown and each panel shows a label with the most relevant information about the material.

Latest additions
Each month Materia adds over 20 inspiring materials originating from all over the world to her collection. The sample selection is based on the inspirational, technological and esthetic value the material offers.

The latest additions are presented on a dedicated wall in the Materia Inspiration Centre. Additionally, the samples are added to our huge material database at www.materia.nl en are published in the monthly material newsletter.

Book Library
The Materia Book Library offers hundreds of useful and interesting international books and magazines about materials, design, architecture and techniques than can serve as a source of inspiration and for research purposes. You can enjoy the literature in the peace and quiet of a semi separated area.
